Poliţiştii rutieri din Constanţa vor monta camere video şi radare pe trei drumuri naţionale din judeţ, iar acestea vor deveni funcţionale la începutul anului viitor.

În total, se vor pune zece astfel de sisteme de tip supraveghere video / radar pe DN 2 A Constanţa-Hârşova, pe DN 39 Constanţa-Mangalia şi pe DN 81 Constanţa-Cernavodă, potrivit declaraţiilor şefului Biroului Drumuri Naţionale şi Europene din cadrul Serviciului Poliţiei Rutiere judeţean, comisarul Tudorel Dogaru. “Noi vom stabili locul unde vor fi amplasate camerele video şi radarele, iar activitatea va fi gestionată prin înfiinţarea unui dispecerat separat”, a adăugat Dogaru.

Montarea noilor sisteme se va executa în baza unui parteneriat public-privat. Costurile de cumpărare vor fi suportate din amenzile încasate de către administraţiile locale. O parte din aceste sume vor merge către firma parteneră, care asigură logistica. Noile achiziţii ale poliţistilor constănţeni vor funcţiona începând cu 1 ianuarie anul viitor.

Howard Zinn: “I Don’t Care” If 9/11 Was An Inside Job

World renowned peace activist and left-wing anti-war icon Howard Zinn recently told an audience that he didn’t care if 9/11 was an inside job, echoing the disdainful and apathetic rhetoric of fellow liberal gatekeepers Noam Chomsky and Alexander Cockburn in dismissing the efforts of the 9/11 truth movement.

Buddy Moore, Independent Candidate for US Senate in Colorado, asked Zinn if he would join him in voicing doubts about the official 9/11 story and in particular the demolition of the twin towers and Building 7.

Zinn said he was skeptical of the official story but then stated, “I don’t know much about the situation and the truth is, I don’t care that much about it, that’s passed….that’s a diversion from what we really have to do,” adding that debating who was behind 9/11, “gets in the way of dealing with the immediate situation”.

Moore attempted to ask Zinn a follow up question about allowing the perpetrators to go free but was largely shouted down by Zinn’s fawning army of left-wing sycophants.

Zinn’s comments echo similar sentiments expressed by fellow left-wing luminary, Noam Chomsky, who has repeatedly expressed arrogance and contempt towards the 9/11 truth movement while invoking apathy towards the contention that there was government complicity in the attacks, despite the fact that the 9/11 attacks happening exactly as the government maintains was key to launching the invasions of both Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as the massive rollback in civil liberties that has occurred over the last seven years.

During a 2006 Internet forum event, Chomsky claimed that the 9/11 truth movement peddled “arcane and dubious theories” and had distracted activists from pursuing “crimes that are far more serious than blowing up the WTC,” presumably belittling the deaths of around 2,000 Americans, along with hundreds of thousands of Afghanis and Iraqis, as well as thousands of U.S. troops in the wars that followed that could not have been launched without the pretext of 9/11.

When a critic asked Chomsky why he was so dismissive of the supposition that 9/11 was a false flag event, pointing out numerous other examples throughout history including the bombing of the Maine, the Gulf of Tonkin incident and Pearl Harbor, Chomsky merely reiterated his insolence, stating, “The concept of “false flag operation” is not a very serious one, in my opinion. None of the examples you describe, or any other in history, has even a remote resemblance to the alleged 9/11 conspiracy. I’d suggest that you look at each of them carefully.”

Chomsky actually dismissed U.S. government complicity in 9/11 a mere four months after the event, and over a year before it was again invoked as a reason to invade Iraq, when he told an audience at a FAIR event at New York’s Town Hall, 22 January 2002, “That’s an internet theory and it’s hopelessly implausible. Hopelessly implausible. So hopelessly implausible I don’t see any point in talking about it,” in response to a question about U.S. government foreknowledge.

Note that Professor Chomsky also vehemently maintains that Lee Harvey Oswald was the long gunman in the JFK assassination, even despite polls showing that around 80 per cent of the American public believe otherwise.

Chomsky was presented with convincing evidence for a wider plot by JFK assassination experts as far back as 1969 and according to Selwyn Bromberger, an MIT philosophy professor who had sit in on the discussion, Chomsky indicated that he believed there was a conspiracy, but has failed to voice his conclusion for nearly 40 years.

It’s painfully clear that the likes of Zinn and Chomsky are intellectual cowards who, despite being abundantly aware of the fact that both 9/11 and the JFK assassination represent far wider conspiracies than the official version of events dictates, they are afraid of using their prominent soapboxes to bring either subject to wider attention for fear of whatever reprisals might ensue. As Vincent Salandria enunciates, this makes them worse than disinformation agents.

“I agree that Professor Chomsky is not a CIA agent,” states Salandria, “But with respect to his pronouncements on the JFK assassination he is worse than a CIA agent. Without being an agent, with his enormous prestige as a thinker, as an independent radical, as a courageous man, he does the work of the agency.”

Indeed, at the time of the release of Oliver Stone’s JFK movie, Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky and another liberal luminary, Alexander Cockburn, went on a seemingly orchestrated media campaign in an attempt to convince the public that the JFK assassination was not a wider conspiracy and also that it didn’t matter even if it was.

“When cornered themselves, Chomsky and Cockburn resort to rhetorical devices like exaggeration, sarcasm, and ridicule. In other words, they resort to propaganda and evasion,” notes one blogger.

The same rhetoric was utilized when questions about 9/11 reached a crescendo. Cockburn, Zinn and Chomsky not only dismiss clear evidence that the official story is demonstrably false, but in addition attempt to generate apathy around the whole issue, classic gatekeeper behavior in preventing the left from becoming active in pursuing the truth about 9/11.

Ontario’s “enhanced driver’s licence”

This week, the Ontario legislature will resume debate on Bill 85, proposed legislation that could lead to the creation of an “enhanced driver’s licence” in the province (referred to as an EDL).

The introduction of the new licence – which will also be available as a photo card for non-drivers – has received little public attention despite the urgent concerns expressed by privacy commissioners and civil liberties groups. Indeed, barring an unlikely change of plans, the legislation could be passed within a matter of days.

The primary impetus behind the enhanced licence is the increased border security measures between Canada and the United States. As the U.S. increased identity card requirements for entry into the country (passports are now required at most border crossings) in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, government officials in both countries have sought to develop an alternative to the passport.

The EDL, which will embed new technologies including a radio frequency identification device (RFID) within the card, is the outcome of that work. While the enhanced card will be optional, it is expected that many residents may pay the extra fee for the EDL. Moreover, Ontarians will not be alone in this regard as other provinces and U.S. states have similar plans.

În mai 2008, armata americană a redat libertatea unui om pe care n- au găsit de cuviinţă să-l acuze oficial de ceva sau să-l judece pentru ceva. Singura lui vină a fost că era cameraman al televiziunii Al-Jazeera din Qatar.

Sami al-Hajj a fost singurul jurnalist ţinut prizonier de americani în acest război împotriva terorismului. La 32 de ani, viaţa sudanezului Sami
al-Hajj s-a schimbat dramatic în decembrie 2001, la trei luni de la atentatele din 9 septembrie. A plecat spre Kandahar să realizeze un reportaj despre războiul din Afganistan. Pe 15 decembrie se afla la graniţa dintre Pakistan şi Afganistan. Îşi reînnoise viza de muncă, necesară pentru a putea filma în zona de conflict. Peste 70 de reporteri şi cameramani voiau în acea zi să treacă frontiera şi să ajungă în Kandahar. Unul singur a fost oprit. Un ofiţer de grăniceri i-a spus lui Sami
al-Hajj că nu poate trece. Imediat a fost săltat de serviciile secrete pakistaneze şi dus în arest. “Voiam să merg să transmit războiul aşa cum este el. Să arăt suferinţa oamenilor. Pakistanezii m-au reţinut spunând că numele meu şi numărul paşaportului pe care îl aveam era pe o listă a serviciilor secrete pakistaneze. Am stat în Pakistan până la începutul lui ianuarie 2002, când ne-au mutat la Bagram”, povesteşte Sami al-Hajj.

Întunericul din Bagram
Aflată în provincia Parwan din Afganistan, Bagram este o cunoscută bază militară construită în mare parte de sovietici în timpul războiului lor împotriva afganilor din anii ’80. Acum se află sub controlul armatei americane, care a amenajat şi un centru de detenţie pentru cei suspectaţi de terorism. “După trei săptămâni, pakistanezii m-au predat armatei americane. La Bagram am stat două luni într-o cuşcă, fără pături, cu toate că era frig. Mâncarea era puţină şi ne-o dădeau congelată, iar apă nu primeam deloc. Dar cel mai groaznic a fost când asmuţeau câinii pe noi. Am avut în permanenţă glugi pe cap, aşa că nu vedeam nimic. Au fost cele mai negre zile din viaţa mea. Ne băteau întruna, nu ne permiteau să stăm jos. Mă întrebau de război, de ce m-am întâlnit cu Osama, dar degeaba le-am explicat că nici vorbă de aşa ceva.”

136 de sate din China au fost otrăvite cu apă contaminată

Apa potabila contaminata a otravit 136 de sate din regiunea autonoma Guangxi Zhuang din sudul Chinei, potrivit autoritatilor locale, citate de agentia chineza de presa Xinhua.

Locuitorii din doua sate ale orasului Hechi au inceput sa prezinte simptome de umflare a fetei si a ochilor, voma si vedere neclara, potrivit autoritatilor orasului. Testele medicale au aratat cantitati excesive de arsenic in mostrele de urina ale acestora.

Masurile de monitorizare a mediului au indicat ca sursa de apa a satenilor a fost poluata de deseurile industriale provenite de la o intreprindere metalurgica din apropiere. Aceasta descarcase deseuri cu continut mare de arsenic inainte de anul 2005, care s-au raspandit incet sub pamant pana la un bazin subteran, potrivit investigatiilor. Cercetătorii japonezi au prezentat un robot care a fost construit pentru a arăta exact ca un om, arată The Sun.

Armata germana ar putea interveni in situatii de risc extrem, asumandu-si sarcinile politiei, cand aceasta nu dispune de suficiente mijloace, potrivit propunerii de reforma legislativa agreate luni de guvernul de coalitie (conservatori si social-democrati) de la Berlin, noteaza EFE, citata de Agerpres.Potrivit reformei legislative propuse, articolul 35 al legii fundamentale germane va fi completat cu “in cazul in care nu sunt suficiente mijloacele politiei pentru a combate un caz de catastrofa deosebit de tragica, armata germana ar putea interveni cu trupe militare”, iar respectivul caz extrem va fi decis de ministrul de interne sau de cel al apararii.Desi Ministerul german de Interne sustine ca reforma legislativa nu presupune acordarea unui cec in alb armatei germane (Bundeswehr), executivul putand ordona implicarea acesteia, de exemplu, in caz de inundatii sau de deturnare a unui avion in care se afla teroristi, opozitia critica masura, considerand-o ca fiind una de militarizare a politicii interne, iar sindicatele politistilor avertizeaza ca armata s-ar putea transforma intr-un corp auxiliar al politiei.
